I.Accessibility Guidelines

At Sumitomo Pharma (Thailand) Co., Ltd. , our goal is to comply with conformation level A of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0)" and strive to guarantee and improve accessibility so that anyone, including older persons and people with disabilities can use this website comfortably.

II.What is accessibility?

Accessibility is defined as a situation in which anyone, including older persons and people with disabilities, can equally access websites and comfortably utilize the information, contents and other functions displayed on the websites regardless of the utilization environments.
Accessibility requires websites to be developed in a way that will allow users to use them easily, for example by being able to change the font size to make the texts easier for users to read, by setting videos and other non-text contents as alternative text, and by taking into consideration the contrast between the foreground and the background.

III.Operation of the Guidelines

Basic policy to guarantee accessibility in each process of planning, designing, developing, verifying, maintaining and operating this website is determined and operated as follows:

1.Planning and Design

Planning and design, including conformation levels (A – AAA) are performed based on the accessibility guidelines described in "WACG2.0".

2.Development

Web contents are developed to meet the standard of accomplishment based on the accessibility guidelines.

3.Verification

In developing and publishing the contents in this website, contents are verified to see whether they meet the accessibility guidelines beforehand.
Verification is applied in the following environments.

Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 (the World Wide Web Consortium)

"WCAG 2.0" is a global standard guideline compiled by "Web Accessibility Guidelines (WAI)", which is an internal organization of "World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)", a group that determines web contents specifications. Japan Industrial Standard "Guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities-Information and communications equipment, software and services-Part 3: Web content (JIS X 8341-3:2016)" adopts similar standard of accomplishment as "WCAG 2.0".

VI.Points Considered for Accessibility

The font size can be adjusted.
Sentences are legible, with adequate line spacing.
Color schemes with insufficient color contrast that make the content difficult to view, or very vivid colors and color schemes are not used.
By having information organised clearly in a hierarchy, the content of the page being browsed and your location within the site can be easily understood.
The website also supports keyboard only operation.
